Our Trip To The Library

Today we had a great day at the Gilroy Library.  We learned how to look up books and then we were able to find all kinds of great books for our animal reports.  We were even able to get library cards of our very own!  Our amazing children's librarian Ms. Kelly took very good care of us.  We are so thankful to her and to the parents that helped us out today.

Changes To Next Week's Schedule

Because of the short week this week and testing next week, there are some changes to our usual schedule.

This Friday is our field trip to the library.  Be sure your student wears comfortable shoes and preferably a snack.  If they bring their library card they will be allowed to check out one book. 
We will be back by 2:00 so pick up is at the normal time.

This weeks spelling test will be postponed until next Tuesday.

There will be no homework sent home next week.  Just be sure to read for 30 minutes every night.

I will not be on campus on Wednesday.  I am going to visit another charter school.  I will be back in class on Thursday.

Don't forget that book orders are due this Friday first thing.  I will be placing the order on Friday at lunch time.
